DETECTABUSE® EXTRACTION COLUMNS

The DETECTABUSE® GV-65 Series is a rugged gravity flow column, packed with a modified copolymer bead. The GV-65 Column is of the hydrophobic non-ionic type, while the Multi-Prep® GV-65C column is a gravity flow mixed mode type exhibiting both hydrophobic-non-ionic and cation exchange characteristics. GV-65 is available in a 15 mL reservoir column which is amber to protect compounds sensitive to light, and in two different styles of three mL syringe barrel style columns ideal for manual or robotic applications. THe bed volume is identical in both column sizes and may be used interchangeably. The Multi-Prep® GV-65C column is produced in both syringe barrel style columns and in a natural color 15 mL reservoir column which easily differentiates it from the GV-65 ,15 mL reservoir column which is amber in color. The DETECTABUSE® GV-130 Series is a gravity flow column, packed with 2 times the resin used in the GV-65 column. This option is available by special order in several custom configurations. GV-130 can be manufactured in a 15 mL column which is amber to protect compounds sensitive to light, also in two different styles of three mL syringe barrel style columns ideal for manual or robotic applications, and in 25 mL and 15 ml reservoir columns, with a synthetic cotton pre-filter designed to handle "dirty" samples often encountered in methadone maintenance programs. These columns are also ideal for extracting larger volumes of sample (3-20 mL) as might be required for TLC sample preparation. These pre-filter columns replace the Multi-Prep® mini-bed extraction column which was phased out in 2010.

Multi-Prep® Gravity series GV-65C extraction columns
The Multi-Prep® GV-65C Series is available as a mixed bed gravity flow column, or 96 deepwell microplate, packed with a modified polystyrene copolymer bead which exhibits nonionic and cation exchange characteristics. As such, it will extract a broad range of acidic, neutral, and basic compounds. This eliminates the need to use more than one extraction column to extract all commonly tested for drugs of abuse and therapeutic monitered drugs from urine, blood, or oral fluid . For strong cation exchange see the GVSA series of columns and 96 deepwell microplates.

DETECTABUSE® LIQUID CONTROLS - REGULAR SERIES
Biochemical Diagnostics Detectabuse liquid urine controls are available in 14 series. Each series is designed to monitor performance of different quantitative or qualitative urinary drug detection methods such as GC/MS, HPLC, Immunoassay, and/or hand held single use devices. Controls are available with values targeted at or near the detection limits mandated by SAMHSA, AACC, CAP, and many state drug testing proficiency programs. Detectabuse controls contain stabilized human based urine. Positive controls have been spiked with authentic reference drug standards and/or appropriate metabolites. Positive, negative, and custom manufactured controls are available. Important additional information is found in the package insert and assay sheets for each lot. Although target values are provided with the Detectabuse liquid controls, each laboratory should run these controls as unknowns in order to establish "in-house" assay values for them. Biochemical Diagnostics will (upon request), supply assay values derived from our contract assay laboratories and customer base on a particular lot of control material. Please refer to the Package Inserts for specific target values of each Detectabuse series of controls. Call our technical service representatives for additional product information. Multi-Prep® Mini-Workstation, 24 place

Twenty-Four place mini-workstations are available to accommodate workloads that need a small footprint. The mini-workstation uses only 5 X 3.5 inches of workspace and holds 24 syringe barrel columns. Our Universal Adaptor enables the use of syringe barrel column fitted with a standard tapered male luer fitting.
